WHAT DO YOU WANT???

It's a question I've been asked year after year by those closest to me for birthdays and Christmas'. Honestly, I hope they never stop asking. It shows I'm loved and cared for, and they just want to be a blessing.

The thing is I never know how to answer.. There's lots of random things I want. But truthfully, I have everything I need. Most of us do. Sure there are times and seasons of being 'strapped'. However, the reality is most of us are well cared for.

Now cue the looming birthday in front of me. The questions now become.. "What have I done?" "Who have I impacted?" I know I've been used in many ways, some I've seen, some I haven't and all of that is ok. But as I approach this marker in my life, I sense a renewed vigor to use whatever platform and sphere of influence I've been given to champion lives and causes around me!

I've had the privilege of traveling all over the world and working alongside some amazing missions and non-profits. But instead of making this about an organization, partnership or some promotion driven campaign, I've decided that what I want, what I really want, is to simply ask my friends to help me make a tangible difference in someone's life.

Food and water are the most basic of needs for every human being. Yet 30,000 people will die this week alone because of the inability to access clean drinking water. This is a need we are becoming more and more aware of. My birthday is simply an excuse to further impact people, actual people, to perhaps see a birthday of their own that they would otherwise never see.

I know there's a ton of great causes out there, but I'm certain that if we can help solve the water/sanitation issue, a whole lot of other poverty-born issues can be taken care of as well!

Simple, I know. But it's the greatest gift I can think of to give, or to receive, for my birthday this year. Will you help? 100% of all donations go directly to direct water projects costs, and each donation is "proved" and tracked to the village it helped when projects are complete.

Please give generously and together let's see lots more people gain access to something we take for granted every day!
